The Cajun Buckeyes Welcome the Ohio State family to the Final Four in New Orleans!
Join the Club for one of our Final Four Events
Friday, March 30th
Starlight Racing at the New Orleans Fairgrounds (1751 Gentilly Blvd) from 5pm to 11pm. Admission is $10 at the gate. Groovy 7, a diverse, edgy band with a line up packed with New Orleans all stars. Look for Melinda who will have Scarlet and Gray Balloons to identify our group. Wear your colors to support our team for the big weekend. Great weather, music and gambling on Ponies...should be a good time.
Crawfish Boil at the Mid City Yacht Club
(440 S. St. Patrick St) from 5pm until whenever. The Mid City Yacht Club (MCYC), our local Buckeye bar, will be hosting a crawfish boil as they do every Friday during crawfish season. Plates of crawfish with fixins are $5. They do run out so be sure to put your name on the list as soon as you get there. The list is outside with the guys doing the boiling.
Saturday, March 31st
GEAUX BUCKS BEAT KANSAS!! - Tip off at 7:49pm.
Don't have tickets? Watch at Mid-City Yacht Club with your fellow buckeyes. Have tickets? Pre-game at MCYC then head to the game. MCYC opens at 11 am, stop in for the best Bloody Mary in town. They will grill hotdogs during the day (around 2pm) for the pre-party. Pot luck for the game, so bring a side dish.
*The Mid City Yacht Club is located at short cab ride or a street car away from the French Quarter
- No boats required! It is a local neighborhood bar owned by an Ohio State alumnus. Beer Bucket Specials all weekend 6 domestic Beers for $10. Great crowd. Highly Recommended!*
